Week 17 (2025) – Chicagoans Bachelor Party Tour Featuring Rick Bayless – TikTok Live and New Books (coming) and New Mouse – Busy May and I’m 39

Ooooeee!

What a Tijuana Adventure bachelor party tour!

It was… legendary!

Fucking Rick Bayless. What are the odds?

What are the odds that a celebrity chef based in Chicago would be in a bar in Tijuana when I was touring Chicago boys around?!

Seriously… the fucking odds…

It was the cherry on the pie from one helluva weekend. Like holy fuck… what a Tijuana Adventure…

Just when you think they can’t get any better.

After that crazy weekend, I rested all Monday. I worked a bit on Tuesday. Then I had another tour Wednesday. This one involved Asian babies! It was a young Asian couple with babies. They were awesome too. Babies included. Fantastic 6+ hours of Tijuana eating and drinking and talking.

And they both paid me well. Well enough to pay rent for May. Well enough to buy a new mouse to play DotA because my Amazon Basics mouse right click is dying and I die in the game because of that.

New gaming mouse.

$25.

YAY!

May starts great. I see my girlfriend today and tomorrow (probably) then I have another tour on Saturday. More money. More tours. And I still need more work.

I vacuumed and cleaned the vacuum. Now I have to “work.” Or go on TikTok live. The more I do it, the more followers, the more books I sell. I make less than a $1 with gifts on the live, but I gain around 100 followers and more.

It’s May 1st.

Sanchez’s birthday (I play DotA with him). And labor day in Mexico. Tijuana is slow as fuck.

It feels like a Sunday.

I have much work to do. And new shirts. I almost run out of merch. Chicago guys bought a bunch. I sold a bunch. Every thing is going way better…

Compared to how April started. April started such shit. My camera got stolen late March. I didn’t have many tours or gigs in April. My computer crashed and it seemed like it was gone for good.

And now…

My iMac runs fucking great. The fans run on high while playing DotA but besides that… it is going smooth as fuck. I didn’t recover my camera, but I did get a GoPro from a friend that is helping a lot. And so much more. Things turn around.

May is going to be very busy. It already started busy. And I’ll be turning thirty-fucking-nine.

Fuck.

The Chicago tour in video format. I didn’t bring the GoPro so it’s all phone video.

I have a tour tomorrow. I have to finish the video of Wednesday’s tour. It went great. It was filmed on the GoPro so there is a lot of material to go through and better quality.

I have to finish this post.

I have to do laundry.

I have a tour tomorrow. Six people. Classic tour. It should be fine. And that’s how May begins.

We had sushi from Bodega Sushi yesterday. Here is my review. It’s pretty filling and okay for the price. Definitely not the best. Rice could be better. I like simple high quality sushi. But hey, my girl likes it and it’s passable for me. Drinks are nice as well. Solid sushi spot that does the job but definitely not a place I would recommend if you’ve had great sushi before.

I took pictures for the review and it could be the picture for this blog post. But I don’t want to.

I’m going to use an old pic instead.

Diego Luna, Gael Garcia, and I.

I’m looking chubby. I’m wearing sandals. The long lens with the D3 is hidden in the Bob Marley bag.

The year was 2010. Crazy times. We weren’t there for them. We were there for Eric Bana. They just happened to be there. I had to convince my co-worker that it was worth taking their picture and that I wanted one with them. Gael got pissy. Diego Luna was awesome. Gael confronted me like wanting to fight. Diego was the opposite and told him to be cool. Then I helped them cut in line for the taxi because they didn’t have a ride.

That story is one of my chapters in my book. The chapter can be easily summarized to just the above paragraph. All chapters can be summarized to a paragraph or two. Instead of my word vomit. My second book is intense. And it has a lot of word vomit.

That was life during the pandemic.

You can buy that book here:

Paparazzi Daze – English.

Revelaciones de un Paparazzi – Español.

I go on TikTok live and talk about my paparazzi times. A lot of people stay in the chat. And I’ve learned how to incorporate ads. I take a break from just talking to them to talk about my books and my website and that they can find a ton of pictures on this website. This website has the most views since a long time ago because of that.

Some people are haters and go in to talk shit. But most people are nice and curious. And I have regulars now. They stay for the hour or two that I’m on my TikTok live. It goes beyond celebrities into Tijuana and other thoughts. But it’s mostly about my paparazzi life from the past. I’m getting a bit tired of repeating myself, but it gets more followers and it sells more books (and more views).

I’m doing it again today. And the times I don’t have much work. But I’m getting busier.

A woman with a mezcal business invited me to sample her mezcales yesterday. She’s seen me on TikTok. She wanted to talk about the paparazzi times. She asked the same questions everyone asks in the live.

New book with a simple format, pictures, and no word vomit is coming. It seems like an easy sale. Much better than word vomit.

Tijuana Adventure 2 is also coming.

And more books.

More work.

More TikTok lives….

I found Lost Pics on an old hard drive. The pics that in the book I write that were lost forever. They weren’t. I still have them. It’s very interesting to see that I indeed photograph more celebrities.

I have a folder that doesn’t indicate what celebrities it has. It has Lori Laughlin! I mean, it was more celebrities as well. Linda and Nick Hogan. It has Harold Ramis (RIP) he was awesome. Zooey Deschanel. Jason Schwartzman. Some people I don’t recognize…

So many lost pictures. A treasure trove of celebrity pictures I took. It’s still blows my mind. And here I go on TikTok live again.

I have Manny Pacquiao! Just chilling at Starbucks… The lost pictures of Axl Rose… Albums just called “French People.”

SO MUCH STUFF!

Paparazzi days… So long ago. But will never be forgotten. What a crazy era. And I was so young. And now I am so old. Fucking 39 soon. Crazy.
