It’s the end of the year!!!
And December is mega slow. It was very slow last year. It’s very slow this year. At least I made good money in November. I made good money in October. But no money December.
I got a shit ton of merch though!!!
Merch merch merch!

The first batch of shirts I wasn’t really thinking about selling them. The second batch was great. The design was La Ballena Long Bar and it sold quick. Third batch, second official design, The Club Aloha devil dancing with a woman also went great. Fourth batch was the Chinese restaurant, it did okay but got great reception.
With that in mind, I thought the fifth batch was going to be a hit.
Nope.
It’s slow.
But hey!
I got a ton of merch. It’s not selling! But it eventually will. And I already made my investment back. Anything going forward is profit.
I don’t have any tours.
But hey!
I have a shit ton of followers and still growing. Content creation. So much content creation. I just posted this one:
2,000 views in less than 30 minutes. That’s alright. It will probably hover around 25k.
Crossposted in all medias. It will do around 50k. A good average.
So much content creation. 2025 will be more than that.

I’ll be in Houston for Christmas again. Only six days. But good to get away. See the family. Drink some Houston beers.
Beers.
Beers…
The craft beer industry is slowing down as well. Cocktails, spirits, alternative drugs, and other things are beating beer. The craft beer boom is gone. Don’t even think about starting a brewery now. It’s too late.
The established ones will survive. The weaker ones will phase out. My Tijuana Adventure 2025 Beer Guide needs to be updated. And it will get published soon.
I still drink too much.
And hey!
Still with my girlfriend!
She won a TV at her work! It’s slightly bigger than my television, but my tv is old as fuck. 43″inch doesn’t look impressive anymore. I need money (and not much) to buy a nice 60″inch or more. TVs are stupid cheap nowadays. I paid $980 for mine back in 2009 after photographing Lindsay Lohan in Hawaii.
The new Lindsay Lohan movie on Netflix looks horrible. I only watched the first 12 minutes and that was enough to not watch anymore. It looks like a Hallmark movie.
I miss photographing her. She was chill as fuck. But she ain’t much of an actress. I’m not like any better, I hide behind words.
So many words.
Tijuana Adventure 2 might be a reality.
I’m sort of ready for 2025.
I said I would write more in 2024, I wrote way less.
I said I would photograph more, I didn’t. Instead, I unsubscribed from Lightroom because I’m not taking pictures.
I said I would play more music. I did. Not as much as I wish. But I played some more.
The rest has been content. Videos. Content. And tours. So many tours.
I said I was not going to do that many tours. I did a shit ton of tours.
Back to Merch. I got the following:
Black shirts original zonkey logo:
One medium, five large, two Xlarge. $25 each.
Blue long sleeve Ballena Long bar:
Two medium, four large, one Xlarge. $30 each.
Charcoal short sleeve Club Aloha devil dancer:
Two medium, four large, three Xlarge. $25 each.
White Chinese restaurant shirts:
One Xsmall, one medium, four large. $25 each.
Black Chinese restaurant shirts:
Two small, one large, one Xlarge. $25 each.
Black Chinese restaraunt crewneck:
One medium, four large, one Xlarge. $40 each.
Three hats, two white and a black one. $25 each.
6 Beer koozies. $5 each.
Do the math.
In theory, I will be making money. And hopefully in 2025 I’ll have ten times the merch I just listed.
So what are you waiting? Buy some of my merch!
Limited runs each time until I have enough money to setup an actual store.
I’ve talked to investors. I’m not sure if I should get investors. I know a lot of people. I’ll be more than fine.
December is slow season.
And a dude with a family just open a fried chicken spot in Tijuana. They have hope. I should have hope. I’m going to do a video review of that fried chicken place after done with this blog. It’s great for Tijuana. It’s okay compared to the best fried chicken places I’ve had (Ali’s chicken, Ezell’s famous chicken, and others).
America makes way better fried chicken than Mexico ever will. Them delicious chicken pumped with hormones. There is no comparison. But in Tijuana, these is probably the best fried chicken spot I’ve ever had (besides the defunct Voodoo Stu’s).
Check it out… in all my social medias.
November had two photoshoots. I haven’t done photoshoots in forever. One was a corporate event for Primos Tacos 25th anniversary. I worked with Andy. I brought my cameras. He let me use his cameras. I wore all black attire. He wore his usual Andy bright stuff (button up shirt with birds of paradise).
My cameras are fucking old. And for the first time in my life… I’m going to fucking sell them. I have other shit to sell. Or get rid off. But yeah.
Andy’s camera worked great. Since there were two of us, he handled the entrance, I handled the paparazzi stuff. That’s right. I just walked around and looked for great moments to shoot.
I shot over 2,500. He shot over 2,500. He delivered around 500… I would have delivered more… Like 800 or perhaps 1,000. Some of my great shots didn’t make the cut. Or so I thought they were great. I didn’t do the edit. Andy took care of it. I could have done it.
Even with this old ass iMac that I got from Andy! Yes. A 2013 iMac can still handle edits with expanded ram. It will soon be obsolete. But I’m going to use/juice it as much as I can. The other iMac 2010 still has some juice/use to it. It can run media. I’m thinking about hacking it and installing Windows. And I’m sure it will still run better than some PCs.
Old Macs are amazing.
After the Primos photoshoot, I had another photoshoot the next day. It was a birthday party for a woman turning 80. My friend hired me for this one (she hired me for Primos as well, but Andy handled it). It was easy. I used my old ass cameras. There is still some use to them.
I have a photoshoot this Wednesday.
Old ass cameras. Great photographer. They still have something to them.
I need to update all if I want to pursue photography. Do I want to pursue photography? Not for now. But I still want cameras. I’m going to get rid of my camera shit in the upcoming months. Or at least I’ll try.
I did a bunch of tours in November.
My favorite was the Korean brothers.
I didn’t know what to expect. The main brother that hired me didn’t tell me it was going to be with his younger brothers. One of the youngest tours I’ve done. The only one with four brothers. But not the first all Korean tour I’ve done. I also did a bachelor Korean party.
Korean people are fun. I should visit Korea.
I have a friend that lives there (but with two kids now). I am sure I know some other people in Korea besides him and a girl I went to middle school with…
The year in some sort of way went fast. Like almost every year.
It felt like I did nothing. I did a bunch of tours. And I went from having a couple thousand followers to 25.5k. And the other 16.5k on TikTok. They all seem to stagnate. Then I hit one video that goes viral and you get a couple thousand more.
Social media is fun and it’s brutal. It’s like a future lottery system. Hit over 100k followers and start making okay money. Hit over a million and welcome to good money.
Or so I think.
I need to make more content. I need to sell more shit. I need to sell more tours. I need to get more gigs. I need more money. Every month gets better.
Not December. You are shit and slow. January and February are usually also shit. But I’ll survive.
2025 goals.
I really want a store. I know there won’t be much money in it. But I don’t know why I really want a store.
Tijuana Adventure souvenir store. With beer (but doubtful). Maybe just with coffee. I have a dream of it. In Pasaje Rodríguez. All my merch. Prints, books, shirts, beer koozies, hats, and way more.
I stand at Pasaje Rodríguez with my merch and people seem to really enjoy it. Even though I just look like a bitter man drinking beer next to a clothing stand. A lot of positive reviews. Not many sales.
I’ll be fine.
2025 goals.
Definitely write more. In my own blog. Write and turn it into other media. That’s what the future is like. Publish the 2025 Beer Guide (in some format). Start working in more books.
2025 goals.
Not definitely, but take more pictures. More fun pictures. More pictures that I enjoy. Fuck trying to do weddings (I gave up on that forever ago). Fuck doing sexy pictures of women (or at least not while not single). Landscapes. Cool portraits. Paparazzi shit. Food. Fun shit. Or there is no reason for it. I haven’t even flown my drone in months. More pictures. Less gear. Less serious.
2025 goals.
Music. Donkey Show or Donkichow got back together for a brief moment and a few rehearsals. We sounded great. More of that. I finally got around re-stringing the six string bass (Big Joe). It feels great. Sounds okay just because I don’t have an amp, but it feels great. More classical. Not much, but practice more.
There is not much time in my life. And I like to spend it sleeping. Why is sleep so good when there is so much shit to do? So much shit to create? And so much shit to consume…
Speaking of consuming… Buy my shit!
Buy my books!
Buy my posters and prints!
Buy my shirts!
Follow me in all the social medias. You know the drill.
Buy my books on Amazon. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them.
